The Junior Offshore Group (or JOG, for short) racing season starts this weekend, with the first race of 2023 taking place on Saturday 25th March.
100 entries will be sailing around the Nab Tower in the Solent – including our very own Director & Underwriter Will Prest!
You can even catch Will and fellow sailor Will McGough discussing the racing in detail beforehand tomorrow evening with overviews of the course, tides, important information & weather. Don’t miss out on some handy tips and tricks.
Tune in Friday 24th March at 7.30pm for the full race briefing via this link: https://us02web.zoom.us/
JOG (Junior Offshore Group) organises a full programme of annual competitive races for its members and allows smaller boat owners the opportunity to compete in coastal and offshore races to internationally recognised standards, whilst keeping the membership fees low.
JOG, which offers a high standard of racing to IRC rated yachts was set up in the 1950’s under the principle that it wanted to make offshore racing accessible for all whilst allowing its members to be back at work in the City by 9am on a Monday.
